Like a Dane…

Okay, so I think I’m getting the hang of this biking thing…:) But really. I’ve loved  hoping on my bike in the morning, basket-loaded, mitten-clad, ready to ride. It’s so neat being able to ride as one of the Danes, being able to flow with the natural line of commuter bike traffic as I inhale scents of baked breads, passing by pastry shops. I shall count them next time, there must be about 7 on my route. Today as I was stopping at a red light next to Norrebrogade, about 5 minutes from DIS, a pedestrian stopped me with a map and asked me where he was. Ahh it felt so good passing as a Dane who looks like she knows where she’s going. I think the bike had something to do with it:)

And throughout my time in Copenhagen so far I’ve been taking some pictures of really pretty bikes, and I hope to compile more as the semester goes on. Here are some of the first ones…
